Free Range Games are proud to present the official Art Exhibition of Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria!
From the moment we began working on Return to Moria, the world of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings has inspired the Free Range Games artists. We all share vivid memories of poring over hand-drawn maps of Middle-earth, and marveling at the original illustrations in the first editions. So we always knew we wanted to bring this world to life through visuals in our game. The Digital Art Exhibition takes the reader through not only our game development process, but on a journey through the past few years as we share our love for the art of The Lord of the Rings.
The Dwarves - The design of the Dwarves, including the original inhabitants of Khazad-dûm, and the many different tribes that answered Gimli’s call
Dwarven Craft - A look at the huge variety of armor, weapons, and other cultural artifacts that add to the living world of Moria
Servants of Evil - A description of the varied Orc and Goblin tribes that inhabit the different levels of Moria, from the feral creatures of the Deeps to the Uruks of Mordor
Creatures of the Deep - A look at the wide variety of fauna, from beasts of nature, to fouler things that prowl in the deep spaces of the world
Once installed, the files will default to be placed into your Steam folder. For most users that will be \Steam\steamapps\common\The Lord of the Rings Return to Moria™\Moria_ArtExhibitionFINALFINAL.pdf.
